The partnership between the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (BUW) and the University of Zambia (UNZA) focuses on the internationalization of higher education.

The memorandum of understanding between both universities has been signed at UNZA in Lusaka in summer 2016. A study visit of Zambian students to Germany is being planned for autumn 2017.
